Helping Digital Marketers Predict Consumer Preference

How do you create an emotional brand for something as abstract as a predictive behavioral targeting engine that provides digital marketers with actionable sales intelligence? Proclivity Systems asked MSDS to help them gain adoption for their web-based product with a non-technical audience by simplifying the user experience and interface design of their powerful, but complex software. We re-architected Proclivity's platform, turning features and data into useful and actionable marketing intelligence.

Lots of Features, Hidden Benefits

Following our rebrand for the company, Proclivity asked MSDS to improve the user experience of their flagship digital marketing software. Like lots of engineer-driven businesses, Proclivity had built its app to support a high volume of complex data—packing in a lot of powerful features, but focusing less on how useful they were. With a core audience made mostly of non-technical digital marketers, the result was a tool that was frustratingly difficult to use

A Better Process for Better Results

After conducting usability testing on Proclivitys app, our UX team identified numerous inefficiencies and bottlenecks. We re-architected the software with an eye towards speed and simplicity, consolidating time-consuming, multi-page processes into a fast and responsive user experience. The resulting assistant turns programming power into a simple process by walking users through creating targeted marketing campaigns, while simplified reporting makes campaign optimization and management as easy as it is to understand.
